Berry Creek HOA Board Meeting

Members Present: Brandon Halcomb, Kathy Anderson, Chris Norwood, Bryan Brockbank, Nancy Cooper, Trevor Davenport, Pat Kennedy, Nedra Segal, Sara Arens, David Carter

Approval of previous minutes: Pat motions to approve of November meeting minutes. Nedra seconds.  All in favor, none opposed

Comments from guests: No guests

President’s Report:

  • Annual fire inspection has been completed.
  • Batteries have been changed in the emergency lights. 

Maintenance Report:

Finance Report

               Monthly Financial Summary

  • Normal expenditures
  • Taxes have been paid
  • 2021 invoices have been mailed
  • Nancy motions to approve monthly finances, Trevor seconds.  All in favor, none opposed. 

Committee Reports

               Social Committee: No report

               Welcome Committee:

  • Several houses under contract
  • 2 new residents (1 on Shiloh Creek and 1 on W Cypress Mill)

Old Business

               Annual Meeting:

  • Discussion of questions from annual meeting
    • Brandon will talk to the city regarding stop signs and a dead end sign for W Cypress Mill Ave. 
    • We will table a discussion about a fitness room sign up to see how frequently the room is used during the winter.
    • We will discuss pool updates in January.

New Business

  • Election of officers
    • President: Kathy motions to appoint Brandon Halcomb as president.  Nedra seconds.  All in favor, none opposed.
    • Vice President: Nedra motions to appoint Trevor Davenport as vice president.  Kathy seconds.  All in favor, none opposed.
    • Secretary: Nancy motions to appoint Sara Arens as secretary.  Nedra seconds.  All in favor, none opposed.
    • Treasurer: Nedra motions to appoint Kathy Anderson as treasurer.  Nancy seconds.  All in favor, none opposed.
  • 3524 W. 19th
    • Plan involved 10 lots off of 19th, and 4 lots at the end of W Cypress Mill Ave.
    • The developer is interested in adding the 4 Cypress Mill lots to Berry Creek.  The board will need to look into this. 
    • Planning commission approved building plans/lots.  Next step will be to get approval from the city council. the 4 W Cypress Mill
